Questions

Everything you might ask before you join.

Film and television, music, publishing, sports, fashion, live events, broadcasting, spiritual and faith-based work, and every kind of digital creation — the same tools and the same standards. If your question is not here, ask it in the feed and a person will answer.

The basics

What is Collabbo?+

A home for people who make things — across every corner of entertainment and creative work: film and television, music, publishing, digital content, sports, fashion, live events, broadcasting, and spiritual and faith-based work. Members keep a real profile, post what they are working on, and meet the people who can help move it forward.

Who is it for?+

Writers, directors, producers, songwriters, composers, engineers, authors, editors, illustrators, athletes, models, performers, broadcasters, faith leaders, agents, managers, financiers, distributors, and the crews and teams around them. If your work needs collaborators or capital, it belongs here.

Is Collabbo only for film?+

No. Collabbo began around film and now covers every genre of entertainment with the same tools. Departments run from Development and Funding through Planning and Pre-Work, Making and Production, Finishing and Post, Music, Publishing, Digital and Content Creation, Sports and Athletics, Modeling and Fashion, Live Events and Performing Arts, Broadcasting and Media, and Spiritual.

Does it cost anything to join?+

Creating a profile and joining the community is free. Any paid feature is announced before it launches, and nothing is charged without a clear opt-in.

Projects and the ask

What counts as a project?+

A screenplay, a series bible, an album or a single, a score, a manuscript, a nonfiction proposal, a documentary, a podcast, a stage piece — anything with a body of work and a next step.

How do I ask for what I need?+

Name the precise next move: a producer, an attachment, a co-writer, a mix engineer, a publisher, a financing conversation, or useful feedback. Specific asks get specific answers.

Who can see my materials?+

You choose. What you post can stay public, stay private, or open only to the people you approve through a private read request.

Feed, reels and live

What goes in the feed?+

Work in progress. Draft milestones, session notes, location scouts, cover reveals, rough mixes, and the small wins that tell people a project is moving.

Can I add music to a post or a reel?+

Yes. Attach an audio track when you post — upload your own file, or search the built-in music library and pick a track. Either way it plays with your update in the feed and on the reels page. Uploads must be music you created or have permission to use; library tracks are Creative Commons-licensed and credited to their artist automatically.

How does Go Live work?+

Hit Go Live and your camera starts broadcasting immediately — no scheduling. Anyone can watch and chat in real time. When you end the stream, your recording is saved and posted to the feed automatically.

Will you fill this with sample content?+

No. Pages stay empty until real members publish. You will never scroll past a staged profile or an invented post here.

Trust and verification

What does the verified check mean?+

That a member has had claimed credits, releases, or representation checked against a public or documented source. The full policy lives on the verification standards page.

How is bad behaviour handled?+

Members can block, unfollow, and report. Reports are reviewed by a person, and accounts that misrepresent credits or pressure other members lose access.

Does Collabbo take a cut of deals made here?+

No. Introductions and conversations are yours. Collabbo does not insert itself into your agreements.
